Sweet Peas
The traditional date for sowing sweat pea seeds is St Patrick’s Day, 17 March but anytime around now is fine.
Sweat peas love a sunny spot, good drainage and a couple of handfuls of lime. There are loads of varieties and there are two new ones, ‘Pink Diana’ and ‘May Gibb’s Sweat Pea Fairy’.
