In 2016 Magic 1278 welcomes Glenn Ridge to the presenting team.
Glenn's career in the broadcast industry began well before he became a household name in 1991 as host of the Nine Network's Sale of the Century, a position he held for over 11 consecutive years.
Born in Adelaide, Glenn launched his career in radio and television in Bendigo in the late 1970's where he was a radio announcer for 3CV and then 3BO. It was here that he first became involved in television, producing and hosting a weekly music video show called Breezin'.

In 1983, Glenn formed his own production company which saw him Executive Produce and host shows including "Six's Super Saturday Show" and "Off the Record" in Regional Victoria, and then 14 documentaries on Outback Australia, two Ford documentaries, and six series of "The Car Show" and "The Boatique" for the National Nine Network.
"Kids Only" (a weekly 30 minute children's magazine show), produced and hosted by Glenn, won a Logie in 1986 for 'Most Outstanding Contribution by a Regional Television Station '. He was also twice awarded with a 'Certificate of Commendation' by the Television Society of Australia.
A motor racing enthusiast, Glenn has been a regular competitor for the past 25 years in a wide variety of motoring events including 23 Targa Tasmania tarmac rallies, six Australian Safari desert races, and numerous other events. He enjoys water and snow skiing and is a passionate Adelaide Crows fan in the AFL.
In 2010 he returned to radio in Melbourne, when he joined MTR and then went on to present programs on MyMP/3MP.
