Peter Ponders Manners

Do you thing manners a thing of the past or alive an well with all generations?  Tell us what you think!

I find it so refreshing when out and about in the world at large, that sometimes strangers will smile and say “Good Morning” and will remember to say please and thank you.

This reminds me of a story my late Father once told me and It goes like this...

My Dad once owned a news agency and he told me on some days when he felt like a little devilry with customers, the encounter would go like this...

Customer: “Age”...

Dad (g  rasping the customer’s hand in his, and saying with a BIG SMILE on his face and ever so nicely): “Please?”

Dad said "what usually followed was the customer’s mouth would open and close just like a gold fish!"

He told me he always found it highly amusing and then he reminded me “good manners cost NOTHING."

Guess who has instilled manners and being gracious to number one son?

Thank you for reading my Blog!!!

Peter Van: Mon to Fri: 7:00pm - Midnight

Nothing but hits for three hours, every weeknight from 7-10pm. Re-live the Classic Top 40 era of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s and from 10pm to midnight, turn the lights down low and relax with some of the smoothest music ever recorded. A great way to wind down at the end of another busy day.
