Plenty of people are finding a grey coating on the leaves of pumpkins, zucchinis etc.

It is caused by the humid weather that we have been having.

You can apply sulphur to the leaves but I would prefer just to go along – you will get edible fruit even though the leaves look tatty.

You can try spraying with bi-carb soda – 1 teaspoon, plus a dash of liquid detergent into 2 litres of water.
