Poppies
With Remembrance Day just gone, poppies are popping up everywhere.
The red petals with black centres, named Shirley Poppies after the Reverend Wilks who lived in the tiny village of Shirley in the United Kingdom.
He developed them, and of course so closely related to those on the Flanders Fields.
