Plant of the Month - February
Crepe Myrtle

Always high on my favourite plant list is the Crepe Myrtle (Lagerstroemia).
I have one, a pink flowering variety, in my backyard, with multi-trunks that are a special highlight for their shape and colour.
I love this tree for its long flowering time over summer into autumn, and keep it to approximately 4 metres high.
Have a look out for Crepe Myrtles ‘Indian Summer’ series with such a range of colours from pink, white, red and mauve.
