Organic Matter
I have just tipped out all the compost built up and its now ready to use on flower beds and the vegetable garden.
Many soils lack organic matter and by adding a layer of compost reinvigorates the soil and helps hold soil moisture.
You can use compost either as a mulch or digging it in at planting time.
