A common garden query – is it possible to move potted roses and deciduous trees in summer?

If it is done properly and in the coolest part of the day when night falls they should be okay.

Dig a hole and soak it well , mix compost into the soil and try not to disturb the roots as they are taken out of the pot.

On extremely hot over 35 degree days put  shade cloth or umbrella over them.
