Many people love the common edible fig and it grows well from temperate to cool climates, especially if grown against a wall for protection.

It’s amazing to realise that the part of the fig that you eat is many tiny flowers. The brown Turkey fig is one of the tastiest and sweetest and produces good yield.

You can prune it to shape and even grow in a large pot.
