Honour for Miss Jane
Magic 1278 Breakfast's Jane Holmes has been presented with an Appreciation Medal from the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation.
The honour comes in recognition of her long-time support and hosting of the annual Operation Harmony Concert at the Frankston Arts Centre.
A project of the Peninsula Branch of the Blue Ribbon Foundation, the concert has raised thousands of dollars over the years for vital equipment and services at the Frankston and Rosebud Hospitals.
Jane says "It has been a privilege to be involved in a project that brings so much joy to the community and so perfectly demonstrates the mission of the Blue Ribbon Foundation, remembering lives by saving lives."

Jane couldn’t be happier about co-hosting with her old friend, Kevin John. “We hosted brekky together on TTFM in the early 90s and now we’re back doing what we both love most: waking up with Melbourne, playing great music and just having fun.”

Congratulations Jane a wonderful achievement. I listen to you and Kevin every morning while I am still in bed, I was lucky enough to be given an iPad for Mother's Day, so I can listen to the radio and read my e books.

Well done Miss Jane. Unfortunately we missed the Blue Ribbon concert on 25th as we were off to Snowy Mountains for five nights with 17 walking friends but our Irish friends took 18 other Probus members to enjoy the experience. Hope to be there in 2013. Thanks also to you and Kevin J for a great brekkie show, we wake up to your happy voices every morning at 6.45am!
