What a decade!

The 50’s began smoothly with the crooners but ended with a rock & roll bang.

Mix in some country, pop, show tunes, folk and swing, and you’ve got some pretty memorable music.

Ex South African who has now moved from Auckland to Melbourne .
First thing i had to do when i arrived here was to find a station that played my kind of music . Wish the Fabulous Fifties could go for more than an hour .. Love It !!!!

Magic 1278 is one of the good things in life. The music brings back so many beautiful memories of being a teenager in the 'sixties. There is one record I love and never heard on Magic: "Goodness Gracious Me" from the movie The Millionairess, sung by Peter Sellers and Sophia. Loren.
Look forward to 2011 with Magic, hopefully with less pre-paid funeral ads :-)
