AFTERNOON OF DANCING
Chelsea Activity Centre welcomes you to a fun afternoon of Dancing including New Vogue, Old Time, Modern, Latin and requests – with super music and an excellent dance floor! From 1.30 Sunday afternoon 22nd January everyone is welcome to the Chelsea Activity Centre in Showers Avenue. Entry is $5 which includes Tea & Coffee, bring a plate to share. BIG BAND AND JAZZ
A free afternoon of Big Band and Jazz music is coming to the beautiful Ringwood Lake from 1pm Sunday 22nd January. Optus 21 Big Band will perform in the Sound Shell! OAK HILL FREE CHILDREN'S PHOTOGRAPHIC WORKSHOP
Oak Hill Gallery offers a free Children’s Photographic Workshop on Tuesday 17th January from 9.15am to 3pm. CINDERS BY ENCORE THEATRE COMPANY
Encore Theatre Company – a not-for-profit group – invites you to a holiday show for the kids – CINDERS by Geoff Bamber – at the Clayton Community Centre Theatrette, Cooke St, Clayton. It’s a retelling of the traditional Cinderella story – a self-obsessed prince meets an upwardly-mobile kitchen maid, trying to escape from her dreadful relatives. Cinderella has a ball and the plot has a twist! Enjoy a pantomime with lots of drama, fun, colour and music starting on the 12th January through to the 21st. NATIONAL SENIORS GREENSBOROUGH
National Seniors Greensborough Branch invite over 50’s to their next meeting from 10am Tuesday 17th January. It’s at 111 Main St and you’ll hear Volunteers Ambassadors from Austin Health speak on Advanced Care Planning with a talk entitled “Respecting Patient Choices”. Meals at the RSL bistro! RAAF EX-APPRENTICES ANNUAL REUNION
RAAF Ex-Apprentices are holding their annual reunion – from 1pm on Saturday 21st January at Werribee RSL. All ex-apprentices, their partners and friends are welcome to renew acquaintances – talk over old times – and enjoy an afternoon of “tall” and not necessarily “true” tales. Can you help--I was driving in the car Saturday morning Dec 18th about 10.30 am and you played an Aussie Christmas Song--it was a classic !! and was hoping to learn who played it and where I might be able to get a copy to send to my daughter who is overseas.
