Spellmasters Australia is holding Round 1 of its competition for Juniors and Seniors at the Ashburton Library, 154 High St. It’s on Sunday 19th February and children from Prep to Year 9 can win $50 cash – latest dictionaries and hand held electronic spellcheckers… and earn a place in the end of year finals. GRAND ART EXHIBITION
Grand Art Exhibition for retirees is on at Edrington Park Retirement Village from Fri 17th to Sun 19th Feb – 9am to 6pm. 60 leading artists will exhibit an eclectic selection of art in the grand homestead and gardens of Baron & Baroness Casey. Can you help--I was driving in the car Saturday morning Dec 18th about 10.30 am and you played an Aussie Christmas Song--it was a classic !! and was hoping to learn who played it and where I might be able to get a copy to send to my daughter who is overseas.
