Aloes and Agaves
Looking around gardens, these two plants are standouts.
Aloes have vibrant red hot poker flowers and Agaves have a very long, up to 3 meter high, flower stalk.
These flowers can take decades to come into flower and then set offsets around the base.
Both are tough, sun loving plants.
